The City of Dublin is proud to announce that Detective David Aronovic has been named the Delaware County Prosecutor’s Office “Top Cop” for the fourth quarter of 2025. This recognition honors Detective Aronovic’s exceptional investigative work and dedication to justice.
“It really means a lot to be recognized for these cases, but honestly, it reflects the hard work of everyone who helped bring it together,” says Detective Aronovic. “Home burglaries can really shake people’s sense of comfort and security, so it was important to help bring some peace to the victims. Our goal is always to protect the community and help people feel safe again, and I’m lucky to work in such a supportive environment alongside people who take that seriously every day.”
Detective Aronovic was recognized for his exceptional work on two major 2023 investigations involving a national burglary ring. His collaboration with law enforcement agencies nationwide was key to identifying and bringing to justice those responsible for a series of high-profile burglaries affecting Dublin, Powell and communities across the country.
Through hotel surveillance, vehicle GPS data and digital location records, Detective Aronovic successfully mapped the suspects’ movements from California to Ohio. His thorough investigation and persistence ultimately led to plea agreements and substantial jail sentences for the defendants.
The City of Dublin congratulates Detective Aronovic on this well-deserved honor and thanks him for his continued service to our Exceptional Community!
